We've put this resource together to help you get acquainted with our district and answer some of the most common questions.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's school. Thank you!

ATHLETICS & YOUTH SPORTS

What sports are available for my child?

Organized sports operated by the WUS district are offered for students in 6th through 12th grade. See the Athletic page from our district website. Youth sports such as soccer, football, baseball and softball are run through community programs such as AYSO or Wayland Youth Baseball and Softball.

Youth Sports Camps or Clinics

Summer athletic camps and programs for younger students are often coordinated by our varsity coaches. Flyers for these programs will be sent out in Peachjar to parents and posted on RevTrak, the online webstore at www.wayland.revtrak.net. Notices will also be included in building newsletters.

What needs to be done to participate in athletics?

Sports physicals are required by the MHSAA to participate in sports. Forms are kept on the MHSAA website and need to be turned into the school before students are allowed to participate. The Physical forms are also on the athletic website, every coach has them and they are in our office. https://waylandathletics.com/

How do I get a physical?

Contact your healthcare provider. Make sure to bring the MHSAA physical form with you for the doctor’s signature.
