End of the Year Fun

Students wrapped up the school year with a variety of fun in person activities. Please visit the school's Facebook page to view some kindergarten activities.

Farewell From the Principal

It has been a privilege and honor to be able to work with your children at Sprague this year! If this year has taught us anything, it is to trust that we can transform! We have come together as a school community showing flexibility, resiliency, kindness, and grace. I am so proud of what our teachers and students have been able to accomplish this year! I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer with friends and family and you are able to take time to read, relax, and do the things you love! Next year, we will all be together again at Sprague and our focus will be on rebuilding our in person Sprague community, nurturing our students through the differences this year has brought, and continue to foster and excitement and passion for learning.

With love and gratitude,

Ann Hofmeier

Sprague Principal

Happy Pride Month

Here at D103, we strive to affirm and celebrate diversity in our community, including our LGBTQ students, their families and our staff. June is LGBTQ Pride Month across the globe. We want you to know that we affirm who you are, stand with you in solidarity and appreciate you in your totality.

To celebrate, Sunday, June 6, Daniel Wright and D103 will be hosting a stop in the Buffalo Grove Pride Parade at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire. The Free 2 Be club will be working the stop to help celebrate diversity in our community and our LGBTQ students and staff. Families are encouraged to drive through the parade on Sunday from 12-3pm. See the Pride Project for more details!

Yearbook Pick Up

Watch for a schedule to come out to pick up yearbooks if you ordered one for your child.

Reading Levels

For summer reading enjoyment, please find the leveled reading books for the Vernon Township Library. The library also offers a summer reading program for children.

Pick Up Medicine from Nurse

Parents are reminded to pick up their child's medication by the end of the school year or it will be safely disposed of by June 22, 2021. Those students who are attending summer school can have their medication sent to Daniel Wright once the parent notifies the nurse's office by calling 847-945-6665 or emailing chorvath@d103.org. Parents must pick up their medication at the end of summer school.

Lost and Found

When stopping at school, please look through the lost and found bin in the vestibule outside the school office. All items remaining will be disposed of or donated on July 1.

Brief Survey About Pandemic School Year

Please take a moment to provide feedback to the district about teaching and learning during COVID-19 by completing this survey. This survey should be completed separately for each child enrolled in District 103. Results from this survey will be used in creating goals for the 2021-2022 school year. Please complete the survey by Thursday, June 10.

Communication Survey

Reaching an entire school community in today's digital and mobile world requires planning. As a district, we are examining what the best methods are to connect with families, and the feedback we receive from this D103 Communication Survey will help us as we work to update our District 103 communication guidelines.

The anonymous survey is divided into two parts: School and District. If you have children in multiple schools, we ask that you please take a separate survey for each school so we can accurately distribute the results. Please only complete the district section once. It should take between 5-10 minutes to complete.
