Red Ribbon Week "Love Yourself- Be Drug Free"
Red Ribbon Week Assembly:
Deputy Jeff Spaller, SRO from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office will give a presentation to the students and a demonstration of the K-9 Unit for Red Ribbon Week. This presentation is scheduled for October 29th at 9AM in our school gym and should last around 30 minutes.
NO Meth Monday: Pledge away drugs!
- Wear a red shirt
- Uniform appropriate top, uniform bottoms and shoes required.
- Twin Tuesday- dress alike with one of your friends.
- Uniform appropriate top, school appropriate out of uniform.
NO Weed Wednesday: Keep our land free of weed!
- Wear red, white, and blue.
- Uniform appropriate top, uniform bottoms and shoes required.
NO Pills Thursday: Don’t do the pills, work on skills!
- Wear your favorite sports shirt or uniform.
- Uniform appropriate top, uniform bottoms and shoes required.
NO Spice Friday: Don’t do spice, you'll ruin your life!
- Dress as your future career goal, school appropriate out of uniform.
School News and Events
- Join us for the 10th anniversary SEEDS Mama Mia Cookoff which will be held from 6-9PM on Saturday, November 1 at Daphne City Hall. Tickets can be purchased here.
- All students should complete their Istation learning path for their required minutes by their October tier group to help develop their reading skills. This is done for homework weekly, but may be done in elective classes.
- The library is collecting Boxtops for Education to purchase new books!
- Free math tutoring sites where you can type in any topic we are studying and get instant examples are khanacademy.org and virtualnerd.com
- 10/27 Scholar's Bowl applications due in the office.
- 10/28 NJHS meeting in the library at 7:10 AM
- 10/28 Scholar's Bowl Meeting 3:15 in the library with Mrs. Surrey and Mrs. Law.
