How Do You Teach Integrity?
Integrity is one of the most important character strengths and life skills a kid can develop, but it's also one of the hardest to recognize. These movies help by providing great examples of integrity in action. With characters and real-life role models (ranging from Charlie Brown to Malala) who act honestly and ethically, kids can learn the value of telling the truth, acting sincerely, treating people equally, and taking responsibility for their actions. With repeated examples of the character strength of integrity and "wins" over character flaws such as dishonesty, these movies are fun, engaging ways for kids to see the importance of doing the right thing even when no one is looking. Important Health Update
Dear TVUSD Parents and Family Members,
Our Health Services department is experiencing an extremely high number of student Covid positive/exposure reports. We are working tirelessly to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. All positive test results and exposures must be reported to the TVUSD Let’s Talk platform using the following link: TVUSD Covid Reporting.
You MUST keep your student home if they have tested positive on any form of PCR or rapid Covid testing. This includes at-home testing, medical facility testing, and TVUSD Covid testing.
A TVUSD Health Services Representative will respond to your Let’s Talk report and contact you with your student's quarantine information. Do NOT send your student to school or any other extracurricular or sports-related activity until you have been given clearance from our Health Services department. Please allow at least 72 hours to receive a response. Please do not submit a duplicate report. Check the email address that you submitted on the Covid report, as most communication will come through our reporting system via email.
Please note, the CDC has recently released new quarantine guidelines. At this time, CDPH and Riverside County Public health continue to review those guidelines. TVUSD will not change current Student quarantine protocols until updated Riverside County Guidelines have been released.
We understand the need for a timely response to every report we receive. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to navigate the challenges of this pandemic.
Thank you for your support.

TES Library News!
Students are practicing RESPONSIBILITY in the library this month by searching for and checking out their own books! Please remind your child to bring his/her library card and books to school on library day each week.
Our Lost and Found is Overflowing!
IS YOUR STUDENT IN NEED OF TUTORING?
Great Oak High School (GOHS) is offering tutoring for students in elementary and middle school. The students are in the GOHS AP or IB program, or they are now first-year college students. They have stated whether they are interested in volunteer tutoring, paid tutoring, or both.
Please note that this is simply a connection vehicle. TES and GOHS are not responsible for any contract made between parties. If multiple students respond to your request, you can choose the best fit and negotiate that outside of the parameters of the school site.
We are hoping this will help many of our families who need additional assistance in their subjects. Sometimes a student talking to a student is the best way to get the content across!
If you are interested in having a tutor, please fill out the form linked here.
If you have any questions, please reach out to:
