Please have your child write each student’s name in the “to:” section and sign his/her own name in the “from: “section of the valentines.

Wylie ISD 2017-18 Calendar Release
If you have not seen the updated calendar for next year, it is posted on the district website. There is a survey that you can give feedback regarding changes you would like to see.
For the most part, it is similar to this year's. Some changes that have occurred include:
- School will start August 21, the third Monday of August, opposed to the fourth Monday. The district applied for a waiver to do this.
- Christmas Break starts on a Thursday and ends on a Tuesday, making the break for staff 13 days, opposed to the typical 16 days.
- They added a teacher work day following Christmas Break.
- Spring Break is now aligned with Dallas County and Collin County community colleges. So it is now the 2nd week of March.
Keep those box Tops coming. we are in a competition to see which class can bring in the most
