The employment rate of accountants is supposed to rise 13% from 2012-2022. The average annual salary is $63,550. It is a full time job. One in five accountant work more than forty hours a week. Some work longer hours depending on what season it is. Most accountants work in offices so there is really no dangerous or hazardous situations.
