School Development Days 2016

Our 2 days prior to students commencing will be very busy next year. A full agenda will come out via email the week before.
All classroom staff, (Teaching and Education assistants) are requested to attend on the Thursday session as we are paying a significant amount for a full day session with Victoria . If this is not one of your scheduled work days for 2016 please see Jason. Our specialist staff who work at other schools on Thursdays are not required to attend.
The Friday session will look at our ongoing focus into 2016 as well as operational matters such as timetables and rosters.

Congratulations, Jenny

A big congratulations to Jenny who is taking the big step into retirement in 2016. Jenny has made a huge contribution to Scarborough PS over many, many years and will be missed by staff, students and the community. We will acknowledge Jenny at our presentation assembly Monday evening as well as recognize Jenny in the newsletter. I am sure you will join me in wishing Jenny well on her next adventure.

Senayt has won the position of ‘Cleaner in Charge’ at Mount Lawley Primary School. Senayt has been part of the team that keeps our school safe and clean for staff, students and the community. Congratulations to Senayt on her appointment.

Simon has worked as our Sport teacher during 2015. Simon has contributed to our school each week by providing an engaging sport program as well as organising our carnivals. We wish Simon continued success in 2016 as he works towards a classroom teaching position.

Mirella, our always smiling school officer, will be taking up a full time position at Hawker Park primary school. Mirella will be missed in the front office as she is the first point of call for many of our students and families each Friday. Best of luck for 2016.

Deb and Anne will be switching rooms on Wednesday while the year 6 students are at their luncheon. The remaining year 5 students will assist with the move.
