Good Things this Week!

First Grade Service!

First grade collected food donations for Hill Country Daily Bread! They connected this to the text Maddi's Fridge, which is about a girl who didn't have a lot of food, and a friend who helped her. Great job first grade!

Fall Break Oct. 6-10

There will be no school for Boerne ISD students during Fall Break from Thursday, October 6th to Monday, October 10th.

Classes and regular business hours will continue on Tuesday, October 11th.

We hope you spend quality time with family and friends!

Cyber Danger Panel Discussion

The next event in the Parent Education Speaker series, titled Cyber Danger, will take place on Monday, October 3rd from 6-7pm at Champion High School. The discussion will focus on the dangers of the online community that our students face.

All Boerne ISD parents, students, and community members are invited to attend.

Nurse Info

Hello Parents,

PK-2nd grade parents, please pack an extra set of clothes for you child in the event they have a bathroom accident, spill something or vomit on their clothes. This will save you time having to drop everything and leave work or home to make a trip to school to provide clothes. The clinic has “some” items but no guarantee that we will have the correct size.

When your child is ill, please do not send them to school. Students need to be fever and symptom-free for full 24 hours before returning to school. If your child has a low-grade fever, please do not medicate them with a fever-reducing medicine and send them to school. Often, the medicine wears off, the fever comes back, and they will have to be sent home. The same goes for vomiting and diarrhea; do not send them to school until they are vomit and diarrhea-free for a full 24 hours. If your child develops unknown/suspicious skin rash, they need to be seen by a doctor and a doctor’s note/excuse stating they are not contagious and cleared to return.

Thanks for your help and cooperation.
