Remembering Ataturk with Respect and Longing
Don't remind me that it is five past nine
that hazy night….
Don't make me repeat those syllables: November,
which is my biggest grief.
This is the date our “Ataturk” died, on November 10.
Tarsus American College students and teachers paid tribute to Ataturk at the ceremony held in the auditorium to mark the 84th anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and the great leader of the Turkish Republic on a sad November morning.
The ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the national anthem, continued with drama, oratorio, poetry and choir performances by students. There were emotional moments in the ceremony, which ended with the performance of the ECHO band.
“Seeing me doesn't necessarily mean seeing my face. If you understand my ideas and my emotions, this is enough." As TAC, we commit to keeping the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk alive and we remember him with respect.
Investigating Gravitational Acceleration in 11IB Physics HL
11IB Physics HL students put their theory knowledge and formulas they learned in Physics into practice. Our students calculated the gravitational acceleration by designing experiments as part of group work. During the experiment, they made precise measurements and made analyzes by drawing the graphs of the data they received.
11IB students had the opportunity to develop their skills in different fields by writing scientific experiment reports during the learning by doing and experiencing with pleasure.
