Orange County Public Library

Free to all Orange County Students!

What is a SEA (Student Easy Access) Account?

The SEA Account is a special library account for Orange County Public Schools students. It has many of the benefits that come with a library card.

Why does the library offer students a SEA Account?

The public library wants you to be successful in school. With the SEA Account, you can get FREE:
- Tutoring (Tutor.com)
- Language instruction (pronunciator)
- Test prep (SAT, PSAT, ACT, WorkKeys via Tutor.com and NC LIVE)
- Access to world databases (NC LIVE)
- Access to all of our online resources.

How do I set up my SEA Account?

Your parent must opt-in on your behalf via the Orange County Schools. See your school librarian for more information.

Besides the FREE online resources, what else can I do with my SEA Account?

Students may check out up to 10 items (books, DVDs, CDs, graphic novels, games, audiobooks, e-audiobooks and internet hotspots).

There are no fines or fees on overdue materials.

And if that’s not enough, all Orange County Public Library locations offer:

-FREE computer access and Wi-Fi
-FREE or LOW-COST printing, scanning, copying, and faxing
-FREE study space, small study rooms and a larger main room
-FREE Tech Tutor and Computer Classes
