Suicide Awareness

The California Department of Education recognizes September as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Youth suicide is a preventable public health problem, yet it occurs at high levels in California and across the nation. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide is now the second leading cause of death among youth between ten and twenty- four years of age.

We are here to help! If your student is struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety which is making it challenging for them to attend school or complete work, please reach out to our counselors or administrators.

On Wed. Oct. 2, 2019 we will host "Zen Den" wellness stations in Granzer Hall during lunch.
