A Message from the Principals
Hello Millbridge families,
Thank you to all the families who watched the videos that were sent out last week. If you have not already done so, the videos can be found under our parent tab on the website.
Please continue to refer to the school website for more information.
We hope everyone has a wonderful, restful weekend. Thank you so much for a great start to the school year as we close our first month here at Millbridge.

Canvas and Help on Your Remote Days
On your child’s asynchronous days (the days they are either not in school or scheduled for Google Meets with their homeroom teacher), your child’s teacher is working with other students and are often unable to respond to you quickly. The quickest way to get assistance is by utilizing the help features in Canvas. If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to watch the videos below, which will make things easier for you and your child on those days.
Making Canvas Easier for Students and Families

Face Mask Information
The following information was shared in Dr. Brotschul’s emails to families.
Wearing a face covering has been ingrained in all of us since March as a way to decrease the transmission of COVID-19. We have opened our doors and have seen staff and students alike doing very, very well with this requirement.
However, pursuant to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, effective immediately, neck gaiters are no longer a viable option for a mask. If your child wears a neck gaiter please send him or her to school with another option.
Picture Day
Picture day is Wednesday, October 21st for students who are attending school as part of the 100% remote program.
In order to have your child’s picture taken, please click here to sign up for a time slot. Photographs will be taken under the white tent and students are asked to maintain social distance while waiting. In the event of inclement weather, photographs will be taken in the gym. If the gym is used, students are asked to use the gym entrance closest to the main entrance. There are time slots available from 9-3. Paper order forms will be available on picture day for any family who wishes to order, but has not done so online. You can also find the order form in the Virtual Backpack, under the Parent’s tab on our website.
Please visit MyLifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID: EVTCV32HQ to place your order online.
Remote Student Library Day & Material Pick-up
Mrs. Reasso and Mrs. Howard will be providing access to the library for our K-2 students who are working remotely. Book distribution does not begin for any of our kindergarten students until November.
Please follow the directions that will be sent to you through Canvas so that your child can reserve their books in Destiny. In order to minimize the number of times families who are working remotely need to come to the school, we have coordinated the first remote library day and the next material pick-up day with the remote student picture day on October 21st.
