Governor's School @ Innovation Park - Information Session
The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park is hosting virtual Information sessions for 9th and 10th grade students for all 14 public high schools in Manassas, Manassas Park, & Prince William County. Current sophomores should be enrolled/completed Algebra II Honors during the first semester.
Each presentation will begin with a brief presentation by Dr. Calhoun, Director of GS@IP, and/or Mrs. Bach, School Counselor for GS@IP. They will then be available to answer any questions students or parents may have. Please check out their website: https://governors.pwcs.edu

Freshman will ring the Bell of Knowledge!
9th graders, you will get to uphold a long standing Manassas Park High School tradition by ringing the Bell of Knowledge on November 2, from 12-2pm. More information will follow. Make sure you save the date!
Course Completion from Spring 2020
Currently, teachers have been contacting any student with an (*) to support them in their completion of two modules. It is important that students complete all (*) courses by November 10 in order to receive credit. If a student fails to receive credit in a course required for graduation they will need to retake the course for credit recovery.
If you have any questions on whether your student still has an (*) from Spring 2020, please check your PowerSchool Parent Portal, or contact the appropriate school counselor.

Important Health Information
We ask that parents/students complete the health assessment questionnaire below, including a temperature check, prior to entering our school building.

Seniors, appointment cards were mailed several weeks ago from Lifetouch. If you did not receive an appointment card, please contact Prestige/Lifetouch Customer Service at 410.644.7700 for more information.
Please note that walk-in appointments will not be accepted. Seniors may be accompanied by only one parent. Masks are required to enter the building.
Food Distribution
Now you can pick up 5 lunches and 5 breakfasts at a time for your child(ren).
This drive-thru style pick-up will be held at FOUR locations on Monday.
9:00 – 11 am at Cougar Elementary via Cougar Court (updated time)
11:30 am - 12:30 pm at the MP Community Center/Dog Park
1:30 - 2:30 pm at Sandstone Way & Manassas Drive
4:00 – 6 pm at Manassas Park Middle School (updated time)
Meals are limited to one set of meals per child, per week.
Proof of enrollment, or bringing a child(ren) to pick up, is required for parents to pick up meals. Proof of enrollment can include a student ID card, report card, or any other school communication containing the students name(s). If you need assistance with providing proof, the food services department can make an ID badge which you can use for future visits.
If your children are not school aged, our food services team will work with you to provide a proof should you wish to pick up without children in the future. Please talk to them during the pick-up time slots noted above.
We hope that replicating our Summer Feeding Program and adding an additional pick up location and window will permit more families to take advantage of this FREE service.
