- Kim's Schedule: CDC Training in Atlanta: Sept 24-27. In office Sept. 28. Education Policy All day meeting: October 1. In office October 2. Fellowship Program Training in Gettysburg: October 3-5.
- E-mails While I'm Out: I will be checking my e-mails in the evenings while I'm away. Please expect a slow response. Text me if you have an emergency and I'll do my best to help you.
- Transition to Team Drive: I really did work on this and ran into a couple of problems. Laurie may keep working on it while I'm gone. We will let you know as soon as the transition is complete. We are all document hoarders - FYI!
- Meet New Administrators: We have several new faces on our administrative team at Eaton RESA. Kim Iverson has joined the team as Supervisor of Related Services and Special Education Director for Potterville Schools. Amy Miller is the new Supervisor for Special Education for Early On and Related Service Staff. Kathleen Szuminski is the new Associate Supt. for CTE.
- Funding Updates: While there are a couple of contracts that have not formally been sent yet, it looks like all of our funding requests for the year were accepted mostly as proposed. I'll be sharing contracts with the Board of Education most every month through December for approval.
- Clerical Updates: We are up and running at full speed. If you have events that are coming up, please be mindful of making sure changes are communicated prior to Friday Forecast. Room set-up, technology, equipment needs are all sorted out here. Cancellations make a huge impact on the flow of planning, so even small cancellations should be shared with the support staff team.
- End of Year: Its the end of our fiscal year (September 30). Please review any outcomes that need attention. Please make arrangements to make any final purchases by the second week of September.
- Payday & Timesheets: If you turn in timesheets, please try to have them in on payday Fridays. Double check your numbers and make sure if you have paid time off (vacation, sick, etc), it's entered in the Aesop system.
- Out-of-State and other Board Requests: If you are traveling out of state for a conference or have other board requests. I have to turn these in the Tuesday before the third Wednesday of each month. So, if you are planning an out-of-state conference, please plan in advance as much as you are able to.
- Safe Schools: I worked with John to fix the glitches in Safe Schools. We had to remove the communicable disease module due to technical issues. This is a MSHN requirement, so I'll have to find another training. If you have any others that don't seem right, please e-mail me.
