Ryan Breton and Jeff Foss visited our Kindergarten classrooms to talk about the weather. Over the past several weeks, our Kindergarten students have been learning about weather, aligned with Next Generation Science Standards. Thank you to everyone who made this special visit possible.

During PAWS Time on Thursday, March 23rd, students listened to the book The Perfect Plan, written by Leah Gilbert and read by HMS Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Frederico! Students discussed how the characters in the story used their individual strengths to reach a team goal. Then, students worked cooperatively to create popsicle stick forts with their own teams. Ask your child to share their experience with you!

On Thursday, March 30th, Ned's Mindset Mission will be joining our entire HMS community for an exciting assembly. Click on Ned(above) to learn more. This is a "pay it forward" promotion where the assembly is held for free and yo-yos are sold on a voluntary basis. Proceeds go towards another school's assembly. Order forms will go home on Thursday, March 30th, with information about purchasing a yo-yo, if you wish. All purchases must be final by Wednesday, April 5. If you choose to purchase a yo-yo, they will be sent home on Friday, March 31st and Thursday, April 6th. More details to follow!
