Merrimack Financial College Planning is pleased to partner with the Tyngsborough School District by inviting you to attend a FREE College Planning & Funding workshop on Thursday, March at 23rd at 6:30pm in the Tyngsborough High School Auditorium.
Learn how to send your children to college without having to sacrifice your life savings and retirement. Explore “last minute” strategies to help families position themselves and their students to receive maximum merit money and financial aid.
Most middle class families fall victim to the financial aid system because they don’t know the rules. Our workshop will help teach you how to make college more affordable, regardless of your income level.
It will be here before you know it! Now is the time to plan. Let us help you save thousands off the college bill and help your children earn their degree. What’s your plan to pay for college? Sign up Today online at www.YourCollegePlanningTeam.com or call 978-851-4411.

College deadlines are quickly approaching. Students should meet with their school counselors to discuss their future plans if they have not already done so. Congratulations to the seniors who have been accepted to college!
Make sure to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application if you have not already done so. This application can be found at fafsa.gov. The FAFSA is the most important application in the financial aid process. All colleges and universities will require the FAFSA before determining a financial aid award. Colleges may also require students to complete a CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE (profileonline.collegeboard.org) and/or a college specific financial aid application. It is important to be aware of each college's financial aid deadlines - missing deadlines could result in missing out on financial aid. For more information on the financial aid process please visit mefa.org.
Middlesex Community College will host FAFSA Day, a free community workshop to help students and families fill out the 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the federally required application for financial aid. The workshop will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, in the Cowan Center on the Lowell campus, 33 Kearney Square.
FAFSA Day at Middlesex offers different options for families seeking assistance, including computer support, to complete the FAFSA online, as well as one-on-one assistance from financial aid experts.
To prepare for the event and to allow FAFSA Day volunteers to provide you with email updates prior to the event, all participants are encouraged to register in advance. To register, visit www.FAFSADay.org.
For those seeking assistance filling out the FAFSA at the workshop, students and parents should EACH bring:
