May 3 through May 7 is Teacher Appreciation Week. See the flyer below for some ideas to show our Eastwood Staff how much we appreciate all they do! You can do things on the list or come up with your own creative ways to show them how much they mean to all of us.

Spring Cleaning for a Cause - we need your help to fill our truck and earn money for Eastwood!

- We will have our "no contact" outdoor drop off space from May 5th-May 12th during school office hours.

- See how many kitchen bags you can fill to help tidy your space and raise funds for Eastwood - we need your help!

Although we are not able to have a yearbook this year, there is still so much to celebrate! We are putting together a slideshow for all of our students that will commemorate this unprecedented year. Please send in any pictures you have of your student(s) to Mr. Ramsey at dramsey@nlmusd.k12.ca.us or eastwoodyearbook17@gmail.com.

Eastwood Elementary PTA is now a designated charity in Amazon Smile. You can earn .5% for Eastwood on eligible purchases simply by saving your shop link and updating your app.

1. Visit smile.amazon.com

2. Sign in with your Amazon.com credentials

3. Select Eastwood Elementary PTA as your designated charity

4. Bookmark smile.amazon.com and/or turn on AmazonSmile in your shopping app

5. To set up AmazonSmile in your Amazon app:

- Open the app and find "Settings" in the main menu (three horizontal lines on the bottom right hand corner)

- Tap on "Amazon Smile" under the Programs & Features section and follow the on-screen instructions to turn on AmazonSmile in the app.

6. Start shopping as you normally do - and Eastwood Elementary PTA will earn 0.5% back on eligible purchases!

Meal Distribution Time for Wednesday, 4/28/2021

Los Alisos Middle School and All Elementary Schools (except Nuffer): 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Glenn HS, La Mirada HS, and Norwalk HS: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Ramona Preschool: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Meals are free to all children ages 1-18 years old.

Please ensure that your child eats breakfast before coming to school.

Safety Precautions:

  • Do the two “W’s”: Wear a Mask & Wash your Hands.
  • Maintain 6-feet physical distance from others.
  • Stay home if you are ill.

District Issued Devices Available for EVERYONE

  • Our goal is to ensure that EVERY STUDENT has a District Issued Device to use. Please make sure to visit the school website and/or click the Device User Agreement to be directed to the form.
  • WIFI HOTSPOTS are also available. Make sure to fill out the SEPARATE FORM for this to be processed. Click the Hotspot Request here to be directed to the form.

Let's show our spirit and be sure to wear your Eastwood gear on Wednesdays!


FYI - Spirit Wear is only available for pick up on Fridays after 12 noon.
