Holy Cross Catholic School

From the Desk of Mrs. Wagner

November 4, 2022

We gathered at the church this week for the first time for our All Saints Day Mass. We heard from so many parishioners how happy they were to see our students back with the congregation. Fr. Oswaldo was overjoyed to have everyone celebrate together. Thank you to Mrs. Sells and the seventh-grade class for leading us.

Our seventh and eighth-grade students also created a Saints Day museum. The students enjoyed touring the museum and learned so much from our seventh and eighth graders! I must say this was one of the best ones yet! Great work!

Don't forget to set your clocks back for that extra hour of sleep we all need from this long week! We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Daylight Savings TIme

We'll get an extra hour of sleep this weekend, but that means less daylight as we head into the colder months. Daylight saving time ends on the first Sunday in November. On Nov. 6 at 2 a.m., turn your clocks back to 1 a.m.

Dear Parents,

Holy Cross School is taking part in The Red Bag Project tohelp spread holiday cheer. The Red Bag Project helps send gifts to children in foster group homes that may otherwise not get any gifts. What we are asking is that you go to the sign-up genius for your classroom and look to see what your student’s classroom sponsored child needs. Sign-up for that

and send it into the classroom by Thursday, November 17th. (SIGN UPS SHOULD BE OUT SOON)

There will be a box for them to put the gifts into, Then on Friday, November the 18th the Faith Families will be little elves and wrap all the presents, The teachers will put all the

gifts in their red bag and they will be delivered on Saturday, December 3rd.

All of the items that you send should be new. On the sign-up genius there will be a list of everything the sponsored child needs. Please send a receipt for clothes and shoes in

case they do not fit correctly. There are also tax donation forms if you need one. Please ask your child’s teacher.

Thank you - Holy Cross School
