TEA Accountability Rating for 2021-22

Newton Collins Elementary earned a "B" in the Texas Education Agency (TEA) accountability reports for STAAR performance in the 2021-22 school year! The campus's rating is the highest for Newton Collins under the current TEA accountability system.

In addition to the campus rating, Newton Collins also earned a distinction for exceptional achievement in Math.

Ms. Fredo will provide a more in depth look at the accountability system this fall during Parent/Principal Coffees.

Volunteering! It Takes a Village

Parent and community volunteers are integral to our school’s success. There are many ways for you to get involved in our community. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form below. We look forward to hearing from you!

All on-campus volunteers and parent chaperones for field trips MUST complete a background check and volunteer application. This takes awhile to process so complete yours now!

Parents, we need your help with car drop offs/arrival in the morning!

Arrival Procedures

Please help us keep our students safe in the mornings!

Car drop off at Drop-Off Zones 3 & 4 ONLY.

Do not drop off students BEFORE Drop-Off Zones 3 & 4. There are no adults to monitor your child before Drop-Off Zones 3 & 4.

Please stop before the large crosswalk.

Please keep the line moving! If your child needs additional time to exit your vehicle, please park in our parking lot.

Roo Store Wishlist

Parents,

We are excited to launch our Roo Store for the 22-23 school year! Our Roo Store is run by several of our student leaders and visits your child's classroom every 2 weeks. Students use their hard-earned Liveschool points to purchase prizes and campus coupons. We purchase items for our store, and we are always accepting donations! We have included some student requested items on our Amazon wish list. If you or someone you know is able to donate to our store, we would greatly appreciate the support!
