Next Year is Almost Here! Time to Update Your Information in PowerSchool
GFC parents are asked each spring to complete an online "annual update" to verify household and emergency contact information, student medical information and complete the annual permission requirements for the coming school year.
The update window for the 2020-2021 school year is open now. Parents must log into their PowerSchool parent account to complete the update process. Please see the help sheet below for useful tips and information about completing this process. This update must be completed before students receive their schedule at Fall Registration Days.
If your student will not be attending Grand Forks Central High School next fall, please contact our registrar, Kate Smothers - 701-746-2377 ksmothers220@mygfschools.org

Important Information for Seniors who have applied to UND
Information shared with High Schools regarding the new automatic admissions standards to UND: While this is a developing process, for the time being if any student has been denied admission to UND based on not meeting automatic admission criteria, please email admissions@und.edu and appeal that decision provided students meet core HS requirements and have a GPA above 2.75. At this time they are not proactively reaching out to students who have been denied to let them know that admissions standards have changed, but they may in the future.
JUNIORS
The civics test for juniors will not be administered this spring. Juniors will be given the opportunity to take this test during their senior year.
Scores for juniors who took the ACT on March 3 at GFC are not available through ACT online accounts. Scores will be mailed to student homes directly from ACT. It is predicted students will receive this mailing in late May or early June.
Questions can be directed to Ms. Loftus, Junior Class Counselor, through gmail or voicemail. dkayeloftus110@mygfschools.org or 746 2381.
