Aspiring Special Education Administrators have limited formal pathways or support to develop leadership capacity leading toward certification as a special education administrator.


SERESC aims to solve this challenge by establishing a pathway and system of customized supports for aspiring Special Education Administrators by:



  • Assisting schools and districts with succession planning
  • Preparing aspiring leaders for administrative positions in special education leadership roles
  • Supporting individuals through the design of customized learning pathways to develop knowledge, skills and practical experience necessary for assuming leadership roles
  • Providing opportunities for professional networking and shared problem solving

STEPS Along The Path To Success Include:

Leading Self: Personal Goal Setting, Networking, Self-Assessment and Establishing Balance


Leading Others: Creating Systems for Problem Solving and Decision Making; Manage Personnel


Leading Implementation of Law, Policy, Rules and Regulations: Assure Compliance with State and Federal Laws


Leading Results: Understanding the Cycle of Inquiry Using Data; the Changing Role of Administrators; Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment

Join the Network and be inspired!

Monthly meetings are typically afterschool; dates and times are customized for each Network, determined by the members.

Cost for the full year is $1,000.00

Cancellation Policy Professional Development Events

**All received registrations are subject to Cancellation/Refund policy. A full refund will be made for cancellations sent via email 7 days before the event.


**Refunds will not be given if the request is received less than 7 days prior to the event.


**Refunds will not be given for “no shows”.


**SERESC does accept substitution of another person with 24 hours of advance notice.


**Registration fee or signed Purchase Order is due on or before the event.


**SERESC reserves the right to postpone or cancel events.
