Fall Carnival
This year, our PTA has assigned each grade level to provide items for a themed basket that will be raffled during the carnival. Fifth grade will be responsible for a fabulous gift cards basket! Can you imagine, a basket filled with gift cards!!! So we are asking our parents to donate gift cards for our basket. It can be any kind (stores, fastfood, Amazon, restaurants) and any amount. Your child can bring the card to me and I will pass it on to our PTA.
Fall Carnival is on Saturday, October 30th from 11 am to 3 pm. There will be games, food, rides, and prizes. Costumes are encouraged! Tickets and Wristbands are on sale now!!! Please click on the Volunteer Sign Up to help out! We are taking Donations for Class Baskets!!
Science Fun
Last week we explored mechanical energy and had fun with potential/kinetic energy. I bought a box full of wind up toys and the kids went nuts using them to show examples of potential and kinetic energy. See, kids don't really need expensive things to have fun (remember that this Christmas).
Fall Conferences - My home room parents.
I'm really looking forward to meeting with you this year. We will be doing zoom conferences November 1, 2, 3. You can sign up through Signup Genius. Here's the link:
