2) Valid physical on file with Athletic Department
Both of these requirements MUST be completed in order to try-out/practice. No exceptions.

State Tournament Qualifiers
Congratulations to the Track & Field Members - Molly Schaffer, Brady Devereaux, Derek Mills, Aaryn Sylvester, & Robert Knapik. They have qualified for the State Final at Jenison High School. Tickets are $8 and parking is $3. Results will be posted on http://michianatiming.com/results/.

5/17/19 - JV Soccer vs. Frankenmuth - L (1-4) Bella Light had the lone goal and Alexis Guerrero made 10 saves.
5/17/19 - V Girls Track & Field @ Regional - The Girls Varsity Track team placed 11th at the Regional meet Friday night. Congratulations to Molly Schaffer for qualifying for the State Meet on June 1st, She placed 3rd in the Discus with a throw over 103 feet. Kendra Salo placed 5th in the 200 Meter Dash and 7th in the Long Jump. Alaina Yuker 7th in the 1600 Meter Run. 400 Meter Relay team placed 5th, team of Katy Rondy, Molly Schaffer, Reagan Keyser, Kendra Salo. 1600 Meter Relay placed 7th, team of Katy Rondy, Molly Schaffer, Alaina Yuker, Reagan Keyser.
5/17/19 - V Boys Track & Field @ Regional - A school record has fallen. At regionals on Friday our 4 x 100 relay team of Brady Devereaux, Derek Mills, Aaryn Sylvester, and Bob Knapik set a new school record of 44.57 seconds to earn a trip to States at Jenison High School. Devereaux had a big day, also qualifying for States in the long jump and 200 meter dash.
5/17/19 - V Girls Tennis @ Regional - 2nd place. Team qualified for the State Tournament.
5/17/19 - V Soccer vs. Frankenmuth - L (0-3) Emma Sollner and Sierra Yell combined to generate 11 shots on the Eagles but couldn't get any of them past their keeper. The defense played a strong fundamentally solid game allowing 17 shots on goal. Abby Tennant had 14 saves on the day.
5/18/19 - V Baseball Tournament - The Hemlock Huskies Varsity Baseball team Keeps rolling by winning the Hemlock Invitational Championship Saturday. They beat Carrollton 7 to 6 and Shepherd 8 to 4 in the Championship game. They have now won 10 out of their last 12 games. The hard work is paying off! We Also recognized our Seniors (Jonas Kanouse, Mason LaDouce, Payton Tenant, Alex Ostrowski, Connor Hahn) and their parents. This is a great group of players and parents. Game 1: Hemlock 7 VS. Carrollton 6 Mason Countegan - pitched 5 innings and had 5 strikeouts, and 2 walks, while giving up 4 earned run on 5 hits. Shane Renas- came in and closed the game out. He pitched 2 innings and had 3 strikeouts while giving up 0 earned runs with 0 hits. Dylan LaGrow - was 3 for 4 with 2 singles and a double. He also had scored 3 runs. Alex Ostrowski- was 2 for 4 with a single and a double. Nick LaFrance - has a walk off suicide squeeze to win the game in the 7th inning. Championship Game: Hemlock 8 Vs. Shepherd 4 Jonas Kanouse- pitched 6 innings and had 7 strikeouts, and 1 walk while giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits. Shane Renas- came in to close the game out. He pitched the final inning and had 2 strikeouts with 1 walk and 0 earned runs. Jonas Kanouse- had a single and a game winning grand slam homerun. He had 5 runs batted in and scored 2 runs. Alex Ostrowski- had two singles and reached base all four times and scored 3 runs. Dylan LaGrow- had two singles with 2 runs scored and 2 runs batted in.
5/20/19 - V Soccer vs. Nouvel - L (2-7) The team played a great contest against Nouvel jumping out to an early 2-0 lead in the first half. It was not enough however to over come the speed and control from the Panthers. Emma Sollner and Kali Jimenez scored the two huskie goals. Olivia Watson had 18 saves for the game. This game wraps up the seasons conference play. The team finished 2nd place in the conference with a 6-2 record.
5/20/19 - JV Soccer vs. Ogemaw Heights - L (1-2) Claire Watson scored the one goal while Alexis Guerrero made 13 saves.
5/20/19 - V Baseball vs. Harrison - Game 1: W (14-0) Game 2: W (9-0) Connor Hahn and Hunter Hahn combined for the shutout- They pitched 5 innings and they had 9 strikeouts, and 2 walks, while giving up 0 earned run on 2 hits. Alex Ostrowski- was 3 for 3 with three singles and 3 runs scored. Mason Countegan- was 2 for 2 with two singles and one run batted in. Max Dinninger, Corbin Larkin, Dylan Lagrow , Shane Renas, Payton Tenant and Mason LaDouce all had one hit in the game. Game 2: W (9-0) Nick LaFrance, Mason LaDouce, and Payton Tenant combined for a shutout- They pitched 7 innings and had 11 strikeouts, and 0 walks while giving up 0 earned run on 1 hit. Jonas Kanouse-, Alex Ostrowski, Dylan LaGrow, Shane Renas, and Black Stockford - all had a singles and scored runs.
5/20/19 - V Softball vs. St. Louis/Harrison - Game 1: L (4-5) and Game 2: W (7-5).
5/21/19 - V Softball @ Bullock Creek - Game 1: L (1-2) and L (5-12)
5/21/19 - JV Soccer @ Ovid-Elsie - L (0-2) The team as a whole made beautiful passes and controlled most of the game, but we just couldn't find the back of the net.
5/22/19 - V Boys Track & Field @ TVC Meet - Team finished 4th. We had a few first place finished and TVC Champs in the following events: 200 Meter-Dash Brady Devereaux, 4x100 Relay-B. Devereaux, D. Mills, A. Sylvester & R. Knapik, 4x200 Relay-B. Devereaux, D. Mills, A. Sylvester & R. Knapik. Cade Godwin achieved a PR in the 800 Meter Run.
5/22/19 - V Girls Track & Field @ TVC Meet - Team finished 5th. Congratulations to Molly Schaffer on placing 1st in the Disc and being Conference Champion! All-Conference Honors - 2nd place, Katie Rondy 300 Hurdles; 3rd place, 4x100 Relay of Katie Rondy, Molly Schaffer, Reagan Keyser & Kendra Salo; 3200 Meter Run Alaina Yuker; 4x400 Relay of Katie Rondy, Molly Schaffer, Alaina Yuker & Reagan Keyser; High Jump Reagan Keyser. All Conference Honorable Mention, 4th place - 4x800 Relay of Katie Rondy, Molly Schaffer, Alaina Yuker & Reagan Keyser; 1600 Meter Run Alaina Yuker and 200 Meter Dash Kendra Salo.
5/22/19 - V Soccer @ Bay City Central - W (4-3) Kali Jimenez led the scoring with 2 goals. Madison Sutliff and Emma Sollner each scored 1 and Emma Sollner and Kylee Ryder each had an assist. Abby Tennant finished the game with 17 saves. This wraps up the regular season for the Huskies as they finish 2nd place in their conference with an overall record of 9-7-2.
