The Springdale School District has decided that tomorrow, December 14th, will be a remote learning day due to inclement weather. There will be no on-site classes and food service will NOT be available.
Since most students do not have a device at home, we have created choice boards that can be used with or without technology. Students will choose 5 different activities to complete from the grade-appropriate choice board: 1 reading, 1 writing, 1 math, and 2 others. They can do more but are only expected to finish 5. We ask that students make a list of the 5 they complete along with any written work they do. This should be turned in to your child's teacher when he/she returns to school.
Additionally, each teacher will host a Zoom tomorrow.
The schedule will be:
K-1 at 12:30
2-3 at 1:00
4-5 at 1:30
Specials at 2:00
Teachers will send more details in a message at a later time. We would love to have everyone join the Zoom but know that some will not be able to due to device issues. Don't worry. We want this day to be filled with fun, creativity, and a few choice activities! Remember to wear red and green tomorrow for our first day of "Countdown to Christmas!" Send pictures to your teacher or post them on our social media pages. Stay safe and warm!
Due to remote learning, the Spelling Bee moved to Wednesday.
