Standardized Assessment Accommodations
- Yes, your ELs may use a word to word dictionary as long as there is no picture support. This must be documented in the ELLP.
- Students who receive Spanish Audio must be consistently supported in Spanish in the learning environment. Spanish Audio will "read" the test and the directions in Spanish.
- ACCESS 2.0 does include domain specific accommodations for students on IEPs and 504s. Please see the Accessibility Tools and the Accommodations guide for more information.
Please know, PARCC and CMAS have "accessibility features" for all students. It is critical that our ELs understand these are available and know how to use them. Please allow time for ELs to complete the practice items for each standardized assessment.
