The Patriot Way
September 18, 2022 Vol. 7
Front Office Message
The last few official days of summer are this week as September 22nd marks the first official day of Fall! That means cooler nights, Halloween decorations, school pictures, grade checks, Homecoming, and October Break are going to be checked off of the To-Do list very soon. We have a lot of news in this week's edition which means our staff and students have been busy doing things the "Patriot way"!
Students, 6-week grade checks will be happening this week. Be sure to check your Harmony Family Access accounts to see not only current grades, but to look at, "Assignment Summaries". This is the small box near the letter grade and percentage of your class's grade. This will allow you to see how the overall grade has changed based on each assignment's grade as well as any missing work, zeros, or incompletes. Utilizing SRT time to communicate with teachers via email or checking with them during class will give you about three more weeks to work on getting your performance and grade where you need it to be.
Lastly, we would like to extend a reminder that students being dropped off to the HS need to do so at the Front Office entrance. If we have family members needing to be dropped off at both the elementary and HS, please make sure only the Front Office entrances of each building are being used. For safety reasons, we need to avoid stopping or dropping off students between buildings.
Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Go Patriots!
Best Regards,
Seeger Administration

Miss Potter's DC Digital Design Graphics Class
Miss Potter’s Dual Credit Digital Design Graphics classes have been working hard to create and design their own stickers using Adobe Illustrator software. This project was an exciting open ended prompt that allowed students to experiment and learn the tools of the trade.
They have done a wonderful job taking in all of the information and using it to the benefit of their own creativity.

Seeger Volleyball Alumni Game A HUGE Success
"37 words changed these women's lives in 1972. ”No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” It really wasn’t intended to be about sports, but it was about sports.
This alumni game was to celebrate the past 50 years and to acknowledge all the women that blazed the trail our female athletes walk on so easily. These athletes showed their daughters, nieces, granddaughters, and our current players that they are the women that beat down this road to make it easier for our current players to travel.
I had a player text me on Monday morning and said "It's been over 24 hours and I'm still replaying moments of the alumni games in my head and smiling" That is the reason we hosted the game!"--Coach Diane "CH" Hearn

Message from Mrs. Smiley:
Seeger Students will have the opportunity to participate in a 2 week exchange this school year with our partner school in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Seeger High School will have 17 Germans coming to Warren County on October 10th and staying for around 8 days.
We are looking for host families who have a Seeger student. You take care of the German while they are here as though they are a member of your family, and provide a bed for them.
Contact Mrs. Laura Smiley with any questions or interest. LSMILEY@msdwarco.k12.in.us
