Reading
We also read Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes in order to continue practicing our listening comprehension. We worked on retelling the story from beginning to end with key details from the story. At the end of the week, we shared our reactions to how the characters in the story treated Chrysanthemum when they made fun of her name. Students were very sweet and empathetic to the character's problem in the story.

School Directory Information
The Goodrich School Directory is going paperless! New for the 2019-20 school year, the Goodrich Student Directory will be online via Directory Spot. Directory Spot is accessible online through your desktop and also available as a mobile app. Additionally, if you still like that paper copy, you can download a PDF version and print it at home. Family information has been extracted from Skyward for ALL students and loaded into the directory. Once the directory goes live, each family is free AT ANY TIME to go in and edit their information through the desktop version (you cannot edit from the app). PRIOR TO THE ONLINE LAUNCH, please feel free to contact the office, send a note to your student’s teacher, or email the PTO at goodrichpto@gmail.com if you do NOT want your information included in the directory. The directory will go live on Tuesday, October 8 so please reach out before then if you have concerns or questions about your information being shared. If you are ok with sharing your information or waiting until the directory goes live and edit it yourself, there is NO NEED TO RESPOND at this time. Information that will be included unless otherwise directed includes your students first and last name, address, grade, teacher, and both parents email and phone number (if provided).
