Integrated Learning
We are continuing our beloved Dinosaur unit. We will finish learning about paleontologists and wrap up our unit by talking about carnivores and herbivores. Students will know how to identify a carnivore, herbivore and omnivore.
Centers include:
- Dinosaur patterning
- Herbivore vs Carnivore
- Dinosaur number families
- Feed T-Rex
- Observing dinosaur fossils
Social Studies
Centers include:
- Feelings book
- Mirrors to express different emotions
- Frown/smile sheet
- Puppets
- Dramatic play
Literacy
Your child will be learning about the letters "Qq" and "Kk". We will read The Quite Quail and Kangaroo Kazoo. A few of our centers will include:

Queen color code
- Quilt patterning
- Kite making
- Hershey Kiss estimating
- Beebots with the Alphabet
Science
We are wrapping up our unit on fabric. We will be reviewing getting the fabric clean, dirty and dyeing it using natural pigments. Children will draw what they observed in each step of the process. We will finish our weavings and read The Goat in the Rug. This is a great book about the Navajo weavers by Charles L. Blood.
