WEEKLY NEWSLETTER - February 5, 2021
Principal's Corner
Dear FSA Families,
We are on the last day of the Priority Re-enrollment Period! Re-enrollment contracts and deposits are due no later than tonight, February 5th, 2021 at 11:59 pm. After today, any remaining spaces will be offered to new students/families. Please be prompt in submitting the contracts and payments. At this time, for the 2020-2021 school, most grade levels from Pre-k to 11th grade are full. A number of our FSA families were put on the waitlists last year after they missed the re-enrollment deadline and lost their original spots to new families.
To access your child’s re-enrollment contract, please login in to https://fultonscienceacademy.myschoolapp.com/app/#login

If possible, please also share the school your child will be attending to facilitate the transfer of records.
It is our hope that re-enrollment goes smoothly for all our FSA families and that we continue together into the 2021-2022 school year.

Celebrating National School Counselor Week
Today is the final day of National School Counseling week. The theme of the week is perseverance. When a situation demands you perform tasks requiring more skill than you have at the moment, you may feel like you’re in over your head. In the words of Tony Stark from the first Iron Man movie, “Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk.” Mustangs - think about one situation where you can persevere today. Always remember that you have what it takes.
Thank you to our amazing Counselors at FSA for all you do for your students and our families every day!

The funding from annual fundraising will be used for the third phase of our campus expansion, including the athletics field and arts center.

Please CLICK HERE to join our annual fundraising!
A heartfelt thank you for your support of our school. We are stronger together.
Science Olympiad Team distinguishes itself at Harvard-Brown Invitational
The Middle School Science Olympiad Team competed in the Harvard-Brown Invitational on Sunday, January 31 and was awarded the second-place team trophy. Nearly 1,300 students representing 85 teams from across the nation participated in the tournament. FSA students spent up to five hours in front of their computers taking tests and relishing the challenge. “The Ivy League tournaments are notoriously intense,” said Science Olympiad Head Coach Pam Walsh. “I could not be prouder of how well FSA students did. We have a very competitive schedule, and to see some of our less experienced students placing at these tournaments is tremendous.” The test for each event is written by a committee of former Science Olympians who pride themselves on creating challenging tests that will allow students to display their knowledge. “There’s nothing more disappointing to our students than an easy test,” said assistant coach Julianne Oliver. “They love the problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork that are required and the Harvard-Brown tests delivered that and more.”
