McGovern News
October 1, 2018
We've had a busy few weeks at school and students are working hard to learn our routines and expected behaviors. Responsive Classroom has helped our staff to think about all of these routines and spend the necessary time explaining them to our students. Even for our first grade students, there is still a lot of "new" and I am impressed with how quickly our students are getting into the groove of the new year.
I have had the pleasure to read to most classrooms and this has been a highlight of the last two weeks. I read Peter Reynold's The Dot, and truly enjoy the great message of this book. I spoke with students about the importance of perseverance and never giving up, even if something is hard in the beginning.
Finally, we enjoyed seeing so many families at our Curriculum Night. Please see below for an opportunity to provide us with some feedback.

Finally, we are interested in your feedback on Curriculum Night. Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey. Thank you in advance as this will help us to improve future sessions.
