Thursday's Thoughts
December 3, 2015
I hope you all have had a great week! I also hope you have already had two days of speaking to those students who you feel are your difficult students at least 2 minutes and you have talked about something other than school. Remember that your challenge is to speak to those students each day for 10 days and discuss something other than school. I can't wait to hear your thoughts after completing this challenge.
Please remember to sign up for the Christmas party if you are able to attend. Please do this before 10:00 tomorrow morning as I need final numbers. You will receive more information soon about our party.
I hope you have a wonderful evening. Please plan on a Happy Friday and a duty free lunch.
Love to you all!
Kristie
Our first Lunch and Learn with parents is December 9th at 11:00. I can't wait to see if we have parents to attend. Debbie Baker will be discussing study skills with parents during this lunch. Please be sure to send forms to the office if you have any returned.
There have been so many terrible things to occur in our world too many times. I did have a parent to call me today concerned about her child's safety in light of the shootings in California yesterday. I am sure there are many more parents concerned as well. Please continue to be mindful and keep your doors locked. I am also going to send a letter to our parents early next week assuring them of our safety measures here at school. We will put them in your boxes next week.
Thank you for volunteering to have teacher cadet's visit your classrooms next week if the times worked for you. They will be here December 10th from 9:50-10:45.
