Carver Middle School Newsletter

Principal's Message
Words can't express how proud I am of our students and staff after the first grading period. We have witnessed and unbelievable resilience for our students and teachers during a period uncertainty and we made learning happen! I look forward to even higher production from the Carver family as we welcome students back into the building in about one week.
As a reminder, parent-teacher conferences are scheduled tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020 from 11 am-7 pm. Students do not have school Monday or Tuesday this week because of parent-teacher conferences and Election Day Tuesday. Please use this link to access the meetings that you signed up for with your child's teachers. If you were unable to sign up for a meeting on PTCfast.com, please reach out to your teacher(s) directly and they will establish an alternate time to meet with you about your student.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Spirit Week activities! We had a great time and it was awesome to see our students enjoying themselves while learning throughout the week.
Thank you for your support and have a great week!

Carver Library! Updates from Mrs. Fontana!
Carver Curbside Library: Students can preorder library books for checkout by going to the Carver Library Canvas page and clicking the PINK paw. Follow the directions to search our books and put one or two books on hold for checkout. A librarian will check books out for the student, and have them packaged for curbside pickup outside door #6 on the bus loop side of the building on Wednesdays from 9:00-1:00. Look for the tent to pick up your books. It's very simple to check out new books and/or return any old books, even though you can't actually visit the library yet. Keep the pages turning and escape with a great book from our Carver library!
ALL LIBRARY BOOKS FROM LAST YEAR SHOULD BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. BOOKS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT DOOR #6 ON WEDNESDAYS BETWEEN 9:00 AND 1:00 AT THE CURBSIDE TENT OR IN THE MAIN OFFICE DURING REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
