NBA Attendance Incentive

Josiah Desemeau was the winner of a $100 Visa gift card from CISJosiah's name was drawn from among all students who completed the first quarter with 4 or fewer absences. CIS will continue the Never Be Absent program for the remainder of the school year, so to earn your chance to win next quarter's gift card remember to "Never Be Absent!"

Trust-Based Relational Intervention in our Classrooms

Behavior is the language of unmet needs. When children feel stressed, anxious, hungry, frightened or any number of other big feelings, they often express themselves through unwanted behaviors. Our students often don't have the tools to express their needs or don't have an adult they trust to express them to.

In challenging situations with students practice pausing before reacting and consider what things are possibly affecting both you and the student in this interaction. If you know a student is facing some outside factors that may be affecting his or her behavior, please send us a referral, and we will assist in any way we can.
