One Community
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
Congratulations to our Wildcats!
Your Wildcat Swimmers concluded their season with a successful weekend at the State Championships! The ladies team claimed our second consecutive State 1A-5A Championship! They took gold in 8 of the 11 events, crushing the competition in all three relay events and also in 5 individual events. The first individual gold medals in school history were achieved, with Rebekah Hamilton winning double gold in 200 and 500 Freestyle, claiming a State Record in the 200. Eboni McCarty struck gold in the 50 Freestyle, Lauren McAdams won the 100 Backstroke, and Jewel Krings won the 100 Breaststroke. Also scoring individual points were Amanda Dowling, Heather McAdams, and Larissa Dowling, with Brooke McAdams contributing to our relay victories.
And the boys team of Eric Bishop, Samuel Lowrance, Lync Steadmon, and Michael Rorick improved from a 22nd place finish last year to finish in 7th this year, scoring points in two relays in addition to Lowrance scoring in the 100 Backstroke, with Bishop and Steadmon scoring in the 500 Freestyle.
Congratulations to Senior Michael Parker for announcing his commitment to The University of Alabama! Michael will be joining his brother John Parker (2016) on the field, while his oldest brother, Jacob Parker (2014) is completing his senior year and last year of football for the Crimson Tide.

Counseling and Discipleship Training
The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) is holding a 2018 Counseling and Discipleship Training event here in Huntsville, AL at Grace Community Church over 3 weekends between March and May 2018.
From Tim Keeter, WCA Parent and member of Grace Community Church: “At first glance, an obvious question is, ‘Why would I want to attend a counseling training conference?’ And the short answer is, ‘Because you are a parent.’ This specific training offered by ACBC has had the single greatest impact on my life as a husband and parent, which is why I am excited to share this rare opportunity with you.”
Seating is limited for this event and discount rates are available for a short time, so register as soon as possible. The current discounts expire on November 30 and the last discounts on January 31.
