A few weeks ago your child brought home a Thank You card that should be written for their homeroom teacher. They also brought home 2 bookmarks that go along with our reading theme for the year... these can be made for anyone on staff that is special to your child. Please encourage your children to complete these, the students' contributions are a staff favorite. If your items have been misplaced, just have your child make their own creative Thank You card. There are extra bookmarks available, if they ask their teacher. Please return all items back to class, teachers have been asked not to peek! Again, thank you for all your help.
If you have any questions, please email me at mkuznik@roadrunner.com Michelle Kuznik, Whitney PTA
Girls on the Run ... Volunteers Needed for Next Year
At Girls on the Run they inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. Click HERE for more information. Contact Mr. Hoffland at thoffland@scsmustangs.org for details if interested. Training and registration is required and the program would start in September.
