His lesson was on how the Bible is our rule and standard. How everything is balanced by obeying the Lord's commandments, which He gives to protect us and provide for us. He referenced Jeremiah 29:11 as an example of this. Pastor Conway also brought some tools with him to show students the standard (ruler, level & yard stick), and how that is what we go by when building or measuring; however, the Bible should be our standard for life because it is always true. --Devoney Conner.
CCA's October Character Trait is Joy
During the month of October CCA students and teachers are working on the character trait Joy. John 6:24 says "Ask and you will receive that your joy may be full." We asked three students what Joy meant to them and here are their thoughts: Rose said that she thought it was God’s Word. Maddy Mosley answered that joy is happiness. Jesus, others, yourself and the state of being happy is what Lexi C thinks joy is. What does Joy mean to you? --Devoney Conner.
