Our Fourteenth Week!

This week's Homework

The homework packet will be sent home today and will be due next Monday.

This week's concepts

Character Word of the Week: Passage
Math - Calendar, counting, naming, recognizing, writing and representing numerals 6-10 using concrete objects and illustrations.

Reading - Sight words (can, to, at, I, we, a like, the, some, one, two, three, an, has, is, not, see, go, four, five, my, will), asking questions, compare and contrast and reading fluency and comprehension.

Phonics - Blending 3 letter words, beginning and ending sounds and short vowels.

A Thanksgiving Story

We have been working hard on our class performance "A Thanksgiving Story." We will perform for parents on Friday, November 20th @ 11:15 a.m. If you would like to help with costumes for this project or decorating the stage, please e-mail me ASAP.

What to wear on Friday for our presentation

Students will still be required to wear their uniforms, but could you could please have your child wear the following school uniform on Friday, it would be helpful.

Girls - white tights under their school dresses with a long sleeved white shirt.

boys - blue pants with a blue long sleeved shirt or sweater.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

In the front hall of the school we have containers we are filling for the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Kindergarten is in charge of "Green Beans." Please send in cans of green beans if you haven't done so already. Thank you so much for your generosity!!!

Reminders:

Send in SNOW GEAR - snow pants, coat, boots, hats, scarves and mittens.
