Week 9:
"Difficult Roads Often Lead to Beautiful Destinations. Don't Quit!"
Hello My Panther Colleagues,
Our quote this week is a doozy! Sometimes our path can be difficult; we struggle just to make it up the incline. Not only does it drain us of our energy, it chips away at our determination and stamina. We start to feel like we want to quit, it just isn't worth all this effort and work. But then, we reach the top and we are blown away with the view. We had no idea really. We dreamed it would be great, but this surpasses all our hopes and dreams. We look back at the path we have taken and realize that every barrier, every stumbling block, every difficult stretch of path was worth it after all. It breaks your heart to think of all the times you wanted to throw the towel in and quit... thinking you couldn't do this. You realize your students often feel the very same way. But OH WHAT JOY, when they make it to the top. Stand proud! You are the one who brought them to this moment, to this beautiful destination.
This Week:
Formals continue this week.
October 25th! Mark your calendar!
I will need all hands on deck at our Fall Festival. This event is our biggest fundraiser and we need everyone's full support. It's one day and while it is required, I'm asking that you plan ahead and make a commitment to stay for the entirety of the event including the clean up. If you finish cleaning up your area, we need you to help others so that we can all finish and go home after the event. "Many hands make light work." More information will be forthcoming. There is a planning meeting on Oct. 10th in the cafeteria at 5:30, please send grade level representation.
Let's have a great week Panthers!
