Donate Your Outgrown Children’s Books and Support the School Library

Are your shelves overflowing with books that your kids have outgrown or don’t want to read?

The PVES library would love to have them! The library will keep some for our collection then offer the rest to teachers and other PUSD school libraries. It’s a great way to reduce clutter while benefiting students and teachers.

The library accepts children’s books that are in good condition and are age-appropriate for kindergarten to fifth grade students. NOTE: I do not accept young adult or adult books. Place your donations in the collection box inside the front office. Thank you for supporting the school library!

Spotlight on our Friend of the Foundation: North San Diego Friday Night Lights

MISSION PEST CONTROL

Caleb, Brennon, and Noa have been in the pest control industry since 2011. We all met in college and became close friends. We got into pest control by joining a door to door summer sales program to make money to pay our way through college and sold for a company in Orange County. We all thought we’d move on from pest control and eventually pursue careers based on each of our fields of study… Caleb - Civil Engineering, Brennon - Biology & Civil Engineering, Noa - Applied Statistics. Nope! Here we are 12 years later!

Caleb opened Mission Pest Control in the spring of 2018 with Brennon and I originally brought on as sales managers of a sales team. Brennon partnered with Caleb and runs the Termite Branch. I took on the responsibilities of managing commercial accounts, marketing, and acquisitions.

When Mission was first opened, Caleb aspired to not only provide a premium pest control service for the people of San Diego, but also train and develop every individual who works for Mission into hard working, competent, confident, honest salespeople and technicians who could apply what they learned at Mission to greater positions and capacities in their career path and life in general. To this day, that remains very much the goal!
