News from Ms. Smith
Dear Madison Family,
I want to thank the parents, the staff, and the students for making my experience as a Resource Teacher at Madison so awesome. Moving to a new school is filled with many unknowns. When I walked in the doors of Madison everyone made me feel at home, as if I had always been here. I have enjoyed getting to know all of you. I wanted to let you know that after 40 years of having the privilege of working with students and families, I will be retiring at the end of this school year. I have been fortunate to have a career that I love. Thanks to all of you for your support.
Sandy Smith

Madison Career Week
This year, as part of our school improvement plan, we have been focusing on goals that fall under the area of relevancy. In an effort to expose students to a variety of career professions and see how these professions use reading, writing, and math in their everyday lives, we are looking for family members to visit our classrooms to share about your job or career during the week of May 13-16. We are hoping for a wide variety of professions that can be shared with our bears so ALL jobs and careers are welcome.
Please click on the sign-up sheet that matches your child's classroom teacher to select a time to come speak with our class - sign up sheet.
