Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
April 30, 2020
Letter from a parent
...Mrs. Lee, I just wanted to share with you something that I am sure you already know: you have a wonderful staff of teachers.
This virtual learning has not been easy for any of them; the concept of school changed so quickly for all of them and yet they didn't skip a beat. They have delivered activities for the kids and they have connected with them to support them. Many of them are moms and I know how difficult it is to balance it all. My children have enjoyed very much all the activities.
My child adores her teacher. Teacher has taken extra time to connect with her, she even sometimes sees her twice a week . She is the kind of teacher who knows that a kid needs more than the academics.. she has given my daughter so much support this year that I can't thank her enough.
This teacher is not only a rock star teacher but a great human. You have a treasure there.
Thank you so much for all you guys are doing during this time. I know it is not easy, I feel more exhausted now working from home and I believe is because our main source of energy is the contact with students and staff.
Hopefully the answer to fix this is not too far away.
We love Skaggs, and we just wanted to let you know that we appreciate everything you do.
THANK YOU! to ALL of you! #YouAreEnough
