Romeo and Juliet killed each other

As soon as Romeo and Juliet met, they believed they were in love, but in the end their arrogance got the best of them and many tragedies were caused. Who's fault was it? Romeo was not afraid to dying for Juliet, although they just met; this is a reason Romeo is to blame for the deaths. Romeo told Juliet that, "For stony limits cannot hold love out, and what love can do that dares loves attempt; therefore, thy kings men are no let to me"(2,2). He is explaining to Juliet that, no matter what happens he wont be afraid to die for her. Although Romeo takes part in the blame, Juliet is also at fault because when she found Romeo dead, she killed herself. Friar Lawrence explained to the prince, "A noise scared me from the tomb; and she, too desperate, would not go with me. But, as it seems, did violence on herself"(5,3). Juliet didn't want to leave with Friar Lawrence, so she stayed with Romeo. Not knowing what Juliet was going to do, Friar Lawrence left, And once he was gone Juliet killed herself so she could be with Romeo again.
Bon Jovi - Never Say Goodbye

Never Say Goodbye

"Never say goodbye, never say goodbye
You and me and my old friends, hoping it would never end
Never say goodbye, never say goodbye
Holdin' on, we got to try, holdin' on to never say goodbye"

Although this song is about love, it also is about not letting go to someone they love. These lyrics relate to Romeo and Juliet because they couldn't say goodbye to each other. The song "Never Say Goodbye" by Bon Jovi, is about about not wanting to say goodbye to his love; and in the movie Romeo cant say goodbye to Juliet, causing him to come back and kill himself, which leads to Juliet killing herself too.

Monsoon Wedding

Besides that these movies use different cultures, and are taking place in a different country; the movie "Monsoon Wedding" is about a planned marriage and the bride leaving so she can marry who she wants. Aditi, the women who is supposed to get married, disobeys her father who is planning the wedding. She speaks for herself and marries the man she loves, not the man her dad wants her to marry. This related to "Romeo and Juliet" because, Juliet want to marry who she chooses, and not who her dad chooses for her. But in the end, Juliet takes things too far and kills herself after romeo dies.
