Good Things!
Ms. Golledge says...
Shout out to the exemplar ELA team for their focus and hard work at the Kilgo Training. Shout out to Ms. Wright for always putting scholars first, and shout out to Mr. Luna for always lending a helping hand to the leadership team!
Ms. Thomas says…
~Mrs. Parks for being an awesome leader and keeping scholars focused with content work after each CA!
~Mr. Warnick for always being positive and a team player.
~Ms. Wallace for just being so cool and calm.
~ To everyone for always doing whatever it takes to be a great educator.
Ms. Mack says…
I'm a neophyte to the shout outs but here it is
Coach Bell & Coach Range: thank you for holding our scholars accountable. Letting them know that academics comes first and behavior in class reflects who they are on and off the court is making a difference, keep up the good work.
Ms Wallace: I can't express how much I appreciate your thoroughness and dedication to CA's the past two weeks. As a first month and first year teacher I can truly say that I didn't skip a beat because you didn't. Every policy, procedure, timeline, and oversight (if any) you owned and delivered!! Thank you for everything you do.....it matters!!
Ms Brown: to my mentor and now friend I can honestly say I don't know where I would be without you. You are a pillar of knowledge and wisdom and to not utilize your gifts and talents would be a disservice to our scholars. Thank you foremost for taking out the time to do our Phoenix lessons, they are impacting our scholars and I see it in my ELA courses. Secondly, you have been the best co-teacher a first timer could ask for. If I could keep you for another 3-6 weeks trust me I would bc I'm learning so much by example. You are the epitome of what IB learning and putting scholars first exemplifies and I appreciate everything you've done for me personally and the 8th grade team. Don't stop doing what you were born to do because YOU are the change we want to see.
Mrs. Lamb-Peters says…
I want to send a shout out to Ms. Fluker! She inspired me to bring more technology into my classroom! Also, another shout needs to go to Mrs. Brown, I can always go to her with good ideas and crazy ideas. She always know how to help me shape those ideas into something awesome. My last shout out goes to Mr. Wright, he embodies the house of discipline at all times. I can tell him about a situation and ask him how could I have done it better. He always have a great solution to any behavior issue that you may have plus on our team we make seem to be the grumpy mean teacher among the scholars.
Mr. Warnick says…
HUGE shout out to Miss Wallace for her hard work during CA testing. She made proctoring the test easy.
Also, a shout out to those of you who spent time grading the constructed response portions of the CA tests. Thank you for your dedication and hard work.
Thank you Miss Thomas for your help on Monday. I appreciate all the you do.
Mrs. Brown says…
Ms. Mack thank you for your excitement about rewarding 8th graders and your willingness to help support in any way with the first reward.
Ms. Trachta- holding 8th grade scholars accountable, she made her class line up several times until they entered her classroom silent.
Ms. Landis- continue being a great Math teacher, trust me, the scholars appreciate you.
Ms. Iwule- for setting a great example for her 8th grade team. She consistently hold her scholars accountable and she doesn’t allow them to make excuses.
Ms. Thomas, it was refreshing walking into your class and hearing you teach inference to your scholars.
Mr. Warnick- you're consistently at your duty post and you redirect when needed, especially with uniforms.
Ms. Smart- it’s great seeing you work so hard with all your scholars, you were tutoring kids in the copy room while waiting to make copies. This is evident of every second count.
Mr. Houston, thanks for watching the 8th graders who didn’t earn the reward on Friday.
Coach Range- thanks for sharing how engaged scholars were during the Phoenix lessons, and for always teaching making sure scholars are learning during Phoenix time. Thanks
Ms. Petroboni- I enjoyed how you demand the attention of all scholars and you make sure they understand Math.
Ms. Wallace- you have done an amazing job with testing period. Thank you!

A Message from the Coach
Dearest Dream Team-
October is known for being the most difficult month in the realm of education because, it is the longest month with very few breaks. Let's go against the norm and make it our best month! Lean on each other, communicate more, visit a class that you don't teach, do more potlucks, celebrate all successes, ask for help, and most importantly take care of yourself X 10!
We have the talent, ability, and skills necessary to think outside of the box and perform at higher levels!! Let's do it! ROCK October!!
The Dream Team Will Fight,
Andrea
Abnormal Behavior in Session! Challenging the Status Quo!! Thinking Differently!
