WORD OF THE WEEK - "Sportmanship"
Sportsmanship is fair and reasonable behavior, especially on the playing field or court.
“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.”
--Babe Ruth

DISTRICT 4 HONOR BAND
On top of this great achievement, Savannah Mylius, Elijah Boyd, and Rebecca Jones scored high enough that they were invited to perform in the Middle School All-State Band in Huntsville in April!
State Assessment
Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP) is coming in April. It is replacing Scantron as the state's summative assessment tool. We are already making plans to introduce our students to the online testing tools necessary to take the assessment. Today, we looked at the tools used for the math assessment. Students would benefit from having a USB mouse for the assessment if they typically use one when using their Chromebook. It's not required but it would be a plus for some students.
