Message from PTO
Welcome back Meadow View Families!
Today is the start of our Meadow View Fun Run Dance Challenge! We are so grateful for any consideration to support our school as we know it’s a difficult time for everyone. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for adding a fun music garden to our playground, and invite your family to help if they are able.
We know how fortunate we are to have such a beautiful school and we are so thankful. That is why we have committed to adding a give-back component to this year's fun run. We will donate 10% of everything beyond the $15,000 goal to the Friends of Imagination Station. We want to model for the boys and girls that giving back to your community is important, especially when they have given us so much. The Friends of Imagination Station are working with other community partners to add a "storybook" walk to Imagination Station and our gift will help make that project a reality.
Let’s get started and have some FUN! With your student(s), watch our fundraising Pep Rally Video here: https://vimeo.com/440773919/29054d27ec
School Wide Challenge: Tonight’s challenge is the Log On Challenge! We want to see which class can have the most students register and get a pledge on FUNRUN.COM with their family by tomorrow! Our goal is to have 80% of families register! Families can register their students by searching for your school name on FUNRUN.COM. Plus, if we hit our $15,000 school wide goal then Principal Schreiber will get slimed!!
Tomorrow we will begin our Team Days, where your students will learn more about this year’s character theme, Sports City Now!
For now, please check out the giving guide that will be sent home today and log on to FunRun.com to help us hit our 80% goal!
Paws Up!

Check out Oconomowoc High School's Free Clothing Store!
This virtual clothing store serves as a resource for OASD families in need of clothes, shoes, or winter gear. It is also a vocational opportunity for learners in the 18-21 Transition Program. OASD students are responsible for staffing the store, maintaining inventory, creating the online platform, and fulfilling any orders. Check it out!
USDA EXTENDS FREE MEAL PROGRAM
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service has again extended the free student meals program, providing a free breakfast and lunch option for students until June 30, 2021, or until the USDA confirms that funding is no longer available, whichever comes first. As a result, student breakfast and lunch will be free on the days that students are learning at school face-to-face, and the days that students are learning virtually.
Please Check Your Student Fees!
New Illness Updates
We strongly encourage you to monitor your child's health continually. It's important to be mindful of any illness symptoms that your child may have before sending them to school. Please keep you child home if they are ill.
If you need information on how to contact your school attendance line, please visit the Absence Reporting Information page on our website.
If you need help understanding when your child should return to school, please visit the Absence Reporting Information page or the "OASD Health Services Information" drop-down on the OASD Learning Hub page.
Both pages have detailed illness guidelines and a video from OASD Health Services Director, Mrs. Deal.
