Roosevelt Weekly Parent Info
Hello Roosevelt families! A few brief reminders for the week--thanks for taking the time to stay in the know.
• There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 19. School will be in session on Monday, April 22, which is a change that has been made in District 77 due to weather closures this year.
• Peacemaker Applications: Students in grades 3 & 4 received Peacemaker information and applications for next school year. If your child has an interest in being a Peacemaker next year, please make sure they complete this information and return it on time! Peacemakers fill a very important role on the Roosevelt playground, and we need responsible, mature young people to fill these positions.
• MAPS Wellness Week: Please check out the awesome week that is planned for students the week of May 6. The attachment is below. Many cool things!!!!
• Rocky Time: Well...we were going to...focus on JOY by just having fun and playing games. BUT...winter weather got in the way. PARENTS: If you have feedback about Rocky Time from your vantage point, please SHARE it with me by emailing me at: ahagge1@isd77.org. Your insight and perspective MATTERS!!!
• Winter Gear Donations: As our long winter comes to an end and spring break provides an opportunity for spring cleaning, please consider donating any winter clothes to our school district. Donations of boots, snowpants, hats, mittens/gloves, and jackets are always welcome and appreciated by many of our Raccoon families.
