Roaring with Spirit- Spirit Week 2015
This year's Spirit Week had us "roaring" with our Daler Pride! Students enjoyed an assembly featuring high school athletes and performers who spoke about working hard. Wacky Wednesday and Crazy Hat Day were favorites! We are very proud to be part of SEM and Farmingdale.
Crazy Hats!
Congrats to Kayden!
Kayden won the 3rd grade Crazy Hat contest for his creative hat, showing spirit through the seasons.
Chief Inspiration Officer for the week!
Dylan came up with some of his own quotes to inspire us this week when he had the class job of "Chief Inspiration Officer."
A Parent's Guide to Writing Workshop
Please join me this Thursday, October 22nd at Parent University, hosted at Howitt Middle School. I will be presenting about writing workshop in grades 3-5. Warm up those writing muscles because YOU will be writing, too! Hoping to see many parents at this free, fun, informational night hosted by the Farmingdale Teacher Center.
Come Join Our Kidblog!
The students have launched their blog pages through Kidblog! Each Tuesday, we are posting a "Slice of Life" blog post. Students can also go on their blogs at home at any time during the week to post as well. The students would love to have comments from parents, relatives and friends. Please go to this site: https://kidblog.org/class/third-grade-learners/enter-code The code is kxwzmzj. (This particular code will only work until November 1st.) Please join our site and comment on the student blogs!
