Making Adjectives Personal
Idea
This came from a Pintrest idea using a whiteboard to describe the birthday boy/girl. Take it a step further and use an iPad to create the same objective.
See examples below:
Popplet Lite Example:
This is an example of how we used popplet lite to find adjectives to describe birthday girl/boy. 1st, Take a picture while in the app and put the student in the center. Next, call each student up to add a word that describes the birthday boy/girl. Last, Share the finished product with all the students to talk about all the adjectives that were used.
Pinterest Idea
Character Descriptions Example:
I took a picture of the character but you could just type the character's name. Then, add text to describe the character.
Twist: Take a picture of the text where it shows proof of why you choose that word. (text evidence.)

WWII Memories
This is an idea that came from a 5th grade teacher that usually has the students come up with a box of mementos from WWII. She did not want to have 100 boxes that she would have to find a place for this year, so we came up with the Padlet idea. They will take pictures of the items and display them on the Padlet board. She created one account and each student will create their own board. The students will be using their Google Drive to upload all of their personal pictures in and they rest will be downloaded from the internet.
