What was he like as a person ?
Hitler was famous or rather, infamous for his ability to characteristically win over crowds. Obliviously to do this he had to have some degree of skill in public speaking. Hitler was also known to many as a master propagandist, he states that he developed this skill as an infantrymen serving in the First World War. In his book Mein Kampf he writes of his believes in what makes an ideal piece of propaganda. He writes "Propaganda must always address itself to the broad masses of the people. All propaganda must be presented in a popular form and must fix its intellectual level so as not to be above the heads of the least intellectual of those to whom it is directed. The art of propaganda consists precisely in being able to awaken the imagination of the public through an appeal to their feelings, in finding the appropriate psychological form that will arrest the attention and appeal to the hearts of the national masses." Aside from this Hitler was a relatively artistic person, during his youth he aspired to be an artist however he in the end this was cut short by rejection from art school. Aside from his nationalist views, Hitler was also an extremely vocal anti-Semitic. In particular he despised Jews and his hatred for them was legendary, a fact which was proven after the genocide.
