MOVIE REVIEW-'Saving Mr. Banks-Stars Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson PG-13

This is based on the true story of P.L. Travers granting rights to her Mary Poppins story (1934) to Walt Disney. Walt worked over 20 years to get permission. P.L. Travers (1899-1966) is a 'good bit saltier and more mysterious' than the woman portrayed by Julie Andrews. One should note that this is a drama and not a comedy, as you might expect. Travers was against using animation and having Dick Van Dyke star in the movie. As a skeptic, it makes me want to research Travers more and find out just what percent of the movie is true. All in all, it is a good story and I would recommend it.

Movies releases I'm looking forward to...

  • Mar. 21 Muppets Most Wanted
  • April 16 Heaven is for Real

Cook and shred 3-4 chicken breasts. Prepare a refrigerated pie crusts for bottom.

Then, add mixture of cream of potato soup, bag of frozen veggies and your preferred spices .

Top with pie crust and crimp edges. Poke holes in top and bake for about 35-40 minutes at 350 F.

This is enough for 2 pies. MIxture can be frozen or kept in refr. for up to one week. (Don't make 2nd pie until ready to bake it.) Great for those cold winter nights!
